2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access: What to spend over $100 on

While there are so many amazing pieces to choose from in the 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access, if your were only going to buy one or two things I have an opinion on what that should be. There are few things I’ll spend more than $100 on, and that is still a lot of money to me, so I don’t take what I’m about to recommend lightly. I covered it a bit on my instagram, but there are really only 2 things you should spend over $100 on in the 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access:

1. Denim: Luxury (otherwise known as “designer”) denim. I covered this a bit in my insta-stories, but the gist of it was. it’s worth it. I KNOW, that’s a lot of money for a pair of jeans, and yes, it is. However, if you are like me, and wear jeans most days of the week throughout the year, and sit/stand/walk/travel in your jeans, you’ll want these. Why? They last, they keep their shape, I’ve had 4 different brands of luxury denim for 3 years and they haven’t stretched, ripped, or faded in that time, and I wear each pair at least once a week. I chose distressed AGs for the 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access, but they have solid, un-ripped, classic pairs if it’s your first time and you’d like to test a more basic pair. Be careful though, you’ll be hooked!
2. Outerwear: Jackets and coat’s I’ll also splurge on a bit, more out of necessity than anything. Winter coats and fall jackets don’t come cheap, especially in-season, so for this 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access, try out a classic moto-style jacket like mine, or a long line look like I got last year. Of course depending on your weather needs choose what works best for you, but I love a moto jacket at all times of the year. This classic piece has shown up year after year in the Nordstrom Sale and continues to be a popular go-to!

Handbags and boots come around a lot and I agree are fantastic items to get on sale if you can. (Especially pre-season!) However, I wanted to focus on my favorites (believe me, I love shoes, but they go on sale more often than the above options, and change with the seasons quicker.

2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access gets crazy at times, so do yourself a favor and order online to pick up in store (you can even try on and return/exchange pieces on the spot). You’ll avoid the chaos and reduce the chance that your pieces are sold out, and also be able to see all of your options with a clear(er) mind. I don’t know about you, but I get a little anxious around a lot of people going crazy and in my personal space. Plus it feels like so much pressure! (Hey, if you like that, the store is the place for you, but I’m not a mall person in general!)
