I’ve only been on a couple of bachelorette parties, but I have had so much fun on them! Mine, of course, was my favorite, I just loved celebrating my impending marriage with all of my best friends. Planning outfits and coordinating with all of your girlfriends is such a blast! Bachelorette parties are such a great time it bust out your cute costumes, sparkles, and chichest party outfits. There are of course a few things to consider when packing: Follow the rules the bride sets for theme days, be comfortable- especially if it’s a daytime outfit, and put your own spin on it, and stay true to your own style even when following a theme! I attended a bachelorette party a few years ago and wrote a post outlining casual bachelorette party outfits! In this post, I’m sharing a roundup of ideas for fun bachelorette party outfit ideas!
15 Bachelorette Party Outfit Ideas
Reverse White Night Outfits
I loved wearing white as a bride, but something even more fun was sparkles! I didn’t dictate how my girls dressed any other night out, and they all loved the freedom, but this night was so fun to see everyone coordinated. As the bride, you can wear colors to stand out (like I did in purple sequins) while everyone else would wear white dresses or jumpsuits. We went to dinner that night and then to the Roosevelt Room cocktail bar in Austin, TX. This was one of my favorite bachelorette party outfit ideas!
I’m sharing tons of white dresses, from mini dresses to midi dresses below for your reverse white night or these can be used as outfits for the bride on other theme nights!
Dress as Famous [Insert Your Future Husband’s Name Here]
If you haven’t seen these videos on TikTok go search for them, they are absolutely fantastic. How this theme works is if your future husband’s name is Chris, you and your girls all choose different famous Chris to dress as, like Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, etc, and then the bride dresses as her future husband! See this great example below!
Kale Theme Bachelorette Party Outfits
When planning a bachelorette think about what activities the bride and bridal party would find fun. It’s tough to organize activities for so many people! So, we planned a casual day wandering around the city hopping from coffee shops to breweries, but eventually, we all ended up going back and napping.
For this day, I chose Kale shirts. This was my version of the theme above. There aren’t many famous Kale’s, but I thought it was hilarious to have everyone wear Kale tees. We did this for our casual brewery day and dressed casually to walk around Austin, grab brunch, go shopping, and day drink.
Cowgirl Bachelorette Party Outfits
Since we were in Austin for my bachelorette party, we saw a lot of cowgirl-themed parties. You can do this in a number of ways. You could be pink cowgirls where you wear pink and sparkly hats in a costume, dress-up, ironic way. Or, where you dress legitimately in Western clothing style, and maybe as an activity you can get hats customized while you’re out on the town! Now, I’m wishing we did this on my bachelorette! I’ve shared both options below!
Disco Bachelorette Party Outfits
We’ve already established that I love sparkles and wearing sparkly outfits. A disco-themed party would be so much fun! You can choose 70s vibes, and the bride could go to the disco ball! This would be such a fun night out on the town!
Mamma Mia Bachelorette Party Outfits
Mamma Mia has become synonymous with bachelorette parties, using the movie outfit inspiration. While this could be similar to the option above, with disco styles, you can dress as Sophie, Donna, Tanya, Rosie, and all of the fun characters! Some of the girls can dress as Donna and the Dynamos to follow the disco theme and even have some fun times performing through the night!
Pink Bachelorette Party Outfits
This is a classic theme for bachelorette party outfits. With this idea, all of the girls in the bridal party wear pink and the bride wears white. It’s a fun way to clearly identify your group and keep everyone together.
Classy Bachelorette Party Outfits
It could be argued that there are many options for a classy bachelorette outfit, but my mind instantly goes to black and white. For a night out, the bride will wear classic white, and everyone else will wear black dresses and outfits. This could also look similar to our reverse white night (pictured above)!
Glitz and Glam Bachelorette Party Outfits
Back to the sparkles! For a Glitz and Glam party outfit, I can only describe this in one way: wear as many sparkles as you can! Glitz and Glam to me is a colorful, decorated, and covered-in sequins party dress!
Neon Bachelorette Party Outfits
I hope this title is self-explanatory, but for this neon style, you will wear neon outfits. Ahead of time, coordinate with the bride whether you’ll be leaning towards 80’s workout looks, or keeping it to cocktail dresses and more dressed-up attire.
90s Bachelorette Party Outfits
Since the 90s are back, a 90s-themed bachelorette night should be super simple to put together! Grab your crop tops and bucket hats to pull together a fun 90s outfit!
Boat Day Bachelorette Party Outfits
Your boat day really doesn’t need a theme, other than ‘boat’, but if you want, you can request your girls wear matching swimsuits, I love these one-pieces, or just choose a color for everyone to coordinate in!
Dress Like the Bride Outfits
If your bride has. a great sense of style, or particular outfits she loves, this is the theme for you. Dress like the bride! Have everyone choose an outfit that they feel shows the bride at some of her most memorable moments. Maybe it was an outfit she loved in college, or if she was a cheerleader in high school, you could wear similar looks! You can also dress how you met the bride, so wear a diaper if you met as babies, or wear workout gear if you met at yoga class, etc! Below is a great example!
Barbie Theme Bachelorette Party Outfits
You can’t go anywhere without seeing Barbie these days. All of the girls could dress in their best Barbie get-ups for a night out. You could go the traditional route and everyone can pick a career, or you can dress like Margot Robbie in the new movie! From her 80s workout gear and rollerblades to her pink cowgirl jumpsuit, there are a lot of great options. Another idea is to get everyone Barbie t-shirts and wear fun pink bottoms!
Taylor Swift Bachelorette Party Outfits
Last, but definitely not least, you and your girls could each pick a Taylor Swift Era to dress as. There is so much inspiration out there right now from Taylor’s Eras tour.
