After Christmas it’s just winter, which isn’t even close to as fun. The next event to look forward to is spring (well my birthday is in there, but as much as I’d like it to be a national holiday, it’s just not going to work out). In Texas especially, spring will be here soon, and I don’t know about you, but I’m much more looking forward to shorts and dresses. However, I will need a coat for at least a few more months, so I’ve gathered the best cots to wear into spring and over the next few months.
In these photos, I’m wearing a fleece, lined wrap coat from Chicwish in a window pane print (also comes in black). This jacket has popped up all over Instagram, but I’ve actually had mine since early November! (See my first post here.) It’s amazingly comfortable, so I wear it all the time. It is best suited for the milder winter days (think 40 degrees and up) which it makes the top of the list of coats to take you into spring!
I am really happy I live in Dallas when something called a “bomb cyclone” hits the northeast. I used to want to live in NYC, but after moving to Dallas I changed my plans. You’ll need a parka or something even heavier even if you’re up there (if they make that)! I may be a Texas girl now, but I grew up in Ohio, so I’m used to winters. I walked to classes in college with a negative wind chill during the polar vortex, so I know cold! I rounded up the best coats (from my favorite stores) and sorted them by style and price.
