If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I went to Nashville last weekend to meet a few of my blogger friends! This will be the first of a couple posts from that trip. We packed so much into those couple of days, I couldn’t fit the info or the photos all in one post! So today, I’m talking about why you need blogger friends if you are a blogger and how to make them!
I am lucky to say that I have blogger friends from all over the country. I met this group of gorgeous women on Instagram about a year ago. We started a pod, but we found ourselves sharing stories, commiseration, and tips more than our photos. Our idea for a trip sprung early on, and eventually turned into actual plans. We all live in different places around the country and a blogger trip to Nashville seemed like the perfect central location. It was like online dating for blogger friends!
Of course I have quite a few blogger friends in Dallas, but it’s so nice to meet people from across the country who experience different things, go to new events, and know other people. I encourage you to reach out to bloggers on Instagram, while traveling, in your local area, who are around your same experience level, start talking and supporting each other, and you will learn more than you realize. Share stories, frustrations, and encouragement, and you will all benefit. It has been amazing to watch these ladies learn and grow with their blogs, and I know that they have been a huge part of my growth as well.

In this post I’m sharing some of my favorite photos of the trip from photographer, Brandon Keith Photography. These photos below in our Home T shirts is the best example of who we are as blogger friends and individuals. These shirts are super soft, made in the USA, and donate 10% of every sale to MS research! I absolutely love companies that give back. We are all from different places, all have different styles and personalities, but we share the same dreams and goals which bring us together.

I love my SF blogger gals, aside from being able to chat and genuinely form real friendships, it’s also nice to be able to talk with a woman who knows your industry and the trials and tribulations that come with it!
