Today I’m showing you this outfit inspired by one of my favorite movies; Breakfast at Tiffany’s! I love the move I have seen it so many times. It’s hard to choose a favorite scene, but the I can absolutely choose the most memorable. I love the opening credits when Audrey Hepburn pulls up to have Breakfast at Tiffany’s in her clothes from the night before with her coffee and pastry, Moon River playing in the background.
I don’t consider myself overly girly, but I do love bows! If you remember from my lbd post, I listed the main points you should consider when buying a little black dress. This dress hits all of them! It’s comfortable, cute, and timeless! My one complaint would be that I wished I could wear a bra with it, but at the same time, there is an elegance to the open back! Speaking of timeless, this dress is a couple of years old, but I did link similar options below. With my dress I chose the pop of color with my pink shoes and bow clutch. Apparently when I wear bows I go all out, so I added one additional bow on my necklace. I chose the iconic pearls like Audrey had, but in a modern style. The final touch was the sunglasses. Audrey always had her sunnies in the movie so she could dramatically raise and lower them to stare at her suitors in question.
After writing this post I am inspired to watch the movie again, it has been entirely too long.
