Christmas is only a few days away and I’m done shopping, but need to pack for my trip home! I spend the holidays in Ohio with my family, so I need to pack up my gifts and sweaters for the long weekend! These velvet booties are definitely coming with me this year! They are super comfortable to wear while traveling, I took them with me to Overland Park and wore them everyday! They were great to walk around Park Place all day in!
When I told my mom I was working with Naturalizer she asked if I even liked their shoes because while comfortable, I guess they haven’t always been the most fashionable. That was absolutely not the vibe I got when I was picking mine out. There were tons of beautiful styles and of course my favorite were the burgundy velvet booties! Burgundy is definitely a big color of the season, and I much prefer it to red. I’m able to wear them so many different ways!
I styled them here with a fuzzy sweater. I have been loving mixing textures lately, and the velvet plus the eyelash might be one of my best combos yet! This is definitely a great look for Christmas day in my house. We are pretty casual and usually don’t end up leaving the house, but I still like to wear real clothes for dinner. I typically go for a cozy sweater, stretchy jeans and comfy shoes (if not slippers). My burgundy velvet booties fit the description perfectly! I wish I could adequately describe how comfortable these shoes are, but I think you’ll just have to try them out for yourself!
