Growing up, I would always choose my favorite pajamas to wear to bed on Christmas Eve. My sister and I would be up super early in the morning, wake up our parents, and open presents in our pajamas until noon. While we may sleep a little later these days, it’s about the same, even being grown. I still like to choose my favorite pajamas, we still open presents all morning. Although m parents may get up first, now. I have to admit, I’ve been slacking on my pajama game, recently, so when I saw these adorable Crown & Ivy pants at Belk, I knew I found my Christmas jammies! Crown & Ivy had adorable sets, and I loved all of the preppy pieces. This outfit really came together when I found the T-shirt with the football that says “Weekends in the South.” I’m a big football fan, and I love that it’s such a great culture down here! The Crown & Ivy collection is for the modern southern girl, while I’m not exactly southern, I grew up with an extremely preppy mom, pearls and all, and went to J.Crew U, yes- that’s an actual nickname for my college, Miami University (Ohio).
Since it’s the holiday season, I thought this would be a fun way to show you my Christmas decorations, because I am so proud of them and my tree, and I am so happy to introduce you to Mia and Elie! I’ve mentioned them a lot on Running in Heels, and this season is the time for family. In Dallas, Elie and Mia are my family! Although it’s tough to get them to sit still, they are still cute!
