It’s almost here! What are you wearing? The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays and I like to go all out with my outfits! I wear red white and blue normally, but this time of year I put them all together! In this post, I’m sharing some of my favorite 4th of July Outfit ideas!
All of the options listed in this post are super casual which is fairly standard for the holiday. If you do have a more upscale event, I’d recommend a sundress in red, white, or blue! I’m always a fan of sundresses but rarely do the good ones come star-spangled or themed, nor would I want them to. This holiday can be pretty obnoxious, but it’s also really fun to dress up
In addition to my 4th of July outfits outfits, I also raided the Target dollar section for some fun accessories! I grabbed a few flags, banners, flag paper plates, my fun koozie, and even my fun sunglasses! If you’re going to go all out, you need to grab all of the flag accessories you can find under $5!

Star Spangled Swimwear for a 4th of July Pool Party
Kale and I had our first date at a 4th of July pool party, and have spent every fourth since at the pool, so I have to start with swimwear! I love a fun themed bikini, so this one was perfect! I found this literal star-spangled bikini last year at J.Crew Factory but was too late and they sold out of my size, so I was thrilled when they brought it back this year.
It is both adorable and inexpensive. It’s not as obnoxious as an American flag bathing suit, so you can wear it other days of the year, too! I’m wearing an XS in the top, bottom, and the cover-up skirt. The bikini and skirt all come in additional non-4th of July themed colors in case you love the shape like I do! I have it in pink striped from last year as well!

Casual Romper for 4th of July Fireworks
I’ve only missed fireworks on the Fourth a couple times in my life, but they are possibly the best part of the holiday, so I see them whenever possible! It’s usually unbearably hot in the middle of the Texas summer, even at night. So, comfort is key! This romper is perfect for a fun casual evening!
I’m wearing an XS in my romper in navy blue, but it also comes in 2 other colors. It fits TTS but is very short. I completed the look of my white converse, star bracelet (part of this set), and a hair scarf tied around my ponytail!

4th of July Graphic Tanks for a BBQ
Growing up we usually had a cookout or BBQ on Independence Day, so a casual tank is perfect and on-theme! When you’re running around chasing kids, helping with the grill, or just kicking back with a beer, a festive tank and shorts are the perfect pair. Plus if there’s a bonfire later, you won’t worry about it smelling like smoke forever (or at least until you wash it).
My tanks in the photos are from last year, but I linked a few great tanks and tees that are available now!

The Fourth of July is a celebration, and definitely not about what you wear, but I love celebrating and wanted to share some inspiration. I linked a few additional options below that didn’t quite fit into the above categories, but are definitely worth a mention.
