Another week of work. This one was rough, but ended up better than I thought! My car broke down again after yoga one night, and we had to tow it back to the shop. Luckily it was an easy fix- actually the same issue we had the first time, so they didn’t charge me!
I also made it back to yoga this week at Trufusion and it was fantastic. I’m so happy to be back on a somewhat normal workout regime! It definitely helps get me in a better mental state for work and keeping my thoughts organized.
This week’s outfits ended up being a mix of business casual and smart casual, mostly smart casual, though. I’m working on wearing more business-wear regularly. Dress for the job you want, right? Luckily, even my VP wears jeans every day, but I feel like men can get away with it better than women can. So, I try to dress up more. However, when looking at these outfits from the week, my favorite is definitely Thursday’s black and white look.
I really didn’t love my Monday look, though. I feel like I look like I was wearing my mom’s old work clothes. I had intended to wear heels, which may have made it better, (I bruised my foot over the weekend, so that was out of the question), I feel like the flats gave it a more matronly look.

For this outfit, I was planning on wearing this blazer, but once I saw the outfit together, I didn’t love it all together. Needing to leave, I grabbed a white sweater, almost identical to the one I wore the day before. I hate wearing looks that mirror each other, but I did really end up loving this look!
