It is so important to add extra ruffles to your wardrobe this fall, if you want to be on trend. Normally this ruffle top would be a little exaggerated for me. However, in the spirit of stepping out of my comfort zone, like at fashion week, I’m embracing the extra ruffles! There are ruffles on so many pieces this year, it’s hard to resist and tame my shopping habit! I don’t really see myself as a girly-girl, but my top and this line by MISA Los Angeles at Blue & Cream are too cute to resist! Be sure to check them out for some amazing ruffle pieces! I love the blue and white on the top I’m wearing, but I have to admit, black and pink are my usual go-tos!
I’m not huge on accessories, so for me, this outfit is actually a bit accessory-heavy. My earrings are only $12.99, I’m obsessed with the Sugarfix line at Target! My bag is the perfect size for a clutch, big enough to hold what I need, but not too large to carry! I worked with MMS Brands earlier this month and loved the bag so much I wanted to include it in this blog post! It is vegan leather and comes in tan, too! They have tons of options, so definitely check them out! Now for the sunglasses; if you haven’t noticed yet, they have been, and will be showing up a lot! I find something I like and stick with it accessory-wise!
This past week has been so hectic! My day job is getting busier and crazier as I hire more people for my social media team! The exciting part is that my team is growing, but with that comes more work! Either way I think it is important to look my best at work, that doesn’t mean office professional, but it does mean putting in some effort. I interviewed people who didn’t even brush their hair. I’ve always been told to ‘dress for the job you want, not the job you have’ so wearing extra ruffles this fall will definitely help spice up my workday wardrobe!
