Friday Favorites: 08.09.19

How has another week gone by so quickly already? This one will be the last for a couple weeks because I’ll be IN THE BAHAMAS next week! I cannot wait for this trip and share all of the content with you when I’m back! This week I’m sharing a few of my favorite basics and a couple TV shows I’ve been into lately.

Friday Favorites

FREE Cupcakes!

You read that right! Tomorrow is National Smores Day and I partnered with Sprinkles Cupcakes to give you a free cupcake because the smores cupcakes are my favorite!

Use code: RUNINHEELS to buy 5 and get 1 FREE cupcake in the Dallas and Plano Sprinkles locations until 8/11.

Moroccan Oil Sunscreen

Before they sent it to me, I had no idea it existed! This lotion sunscreen is perfect! It’s lightweight, smells great, and works well. I’ve used it at the pool several times this year.

See my list of the best sunscreens for your face, here.

Friends

I must have missed the memo on Friends in the last 25 years, but I love it now! Kale has had the re-runs on for months and I’m finally catching up. Guys- I LOVE IT! I can’t believe I missed out on this show, but I’m so glad I’m watching it now!

LAPCOS

I tried LAPCOS sheet masks to re-hydrate my face after a long day out in the sun and the lake. My skin was severely lacking hydration, but this mask made it so much better! The serum was great, it was cooling on my sunburnt skin, and gave me a great glow! I used the Multi-Vita mask, which comes in the Variety 5-Piece Derma Care Face Mask Set.

Milk + Honey Organic Deodorant

I have actually been using this deodorant for over a year now. It was my first organic deodorant experience, and I’m not officially a convert! Milk + Honey has so many great products, and they also sell their organic deodorant in additional scents, extra strength, and baking soda free!

FaceHaus

FaceHaus is a new concept facial spa in Dallas. They provide affordable facials in a simple, no-fuss salon. They make facials easy and accessible to everyone! They opened in Dallas in March off of Royal Lane, and I’ve been a couple times since then. I love that I can still get a full spa-grade facial without the high price. I leave with moisturized, and brightened skin every time!

Netflix Show: Outlander

I started watching this show by recommendation of my friend, Amanda. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the period, mostly because I don’t know much about that time, but I truly find it amazing. This isn’t my usual binge type of show, I really pay attention, and I only watch one at a time. I think I need to do a little bit more research on what is going on in the 1700s, but it’s a really cool story! It’s also based on a book that I might read when I finish my current list.
