Going Out(fits): 2 Going Out Outfits

Most people have the same idea of what “going out” is. In my head it sounds like a dark, loud bar where you can’t have a conversation and you end up spilling half of your $8-15 drink on your shoes. If you haven’t guessed it already, I’m not much for clubs or club-like bars. I do like going out though! My idea of a great night out would consist of dinner then heading to a slightly less insane bar where I can sit and talk to my friends. No dance floor, no drink on your shoes, no hearing damage. Still cute going out outfits.

Call me boring (I’m sure some people will), but I’m over the crazy college party bars. I didn’t even like them that much when I was in college, so now, I’ll stay home with the dogs. The funny part is, Kale and I met in a bar just as I described above. I’m pretty sure his friend even spilled his drink on me! Since then we’ve limited our crazy nights, and opt for dinner and a drink where we can actually spend time together.

However, we don’t have to have the same idea of a great night out to share a love for the fun clothes! My going out outfits consist of mini skirts and cut outs that are just a little too scandalous for daylight, although dark jeans and a black cami or tee is definitely my sweet spot. I have probably 6 black cami tops and 4 white ones in my closet that I rotate through regularly! I linked my outfits below + additional options. I have this cami, it’s the best quality for the price ($55). Although not super cheap, it’s definitely worth the buy for me since I wear it so often. I linked the original Cami NYC version here as well. I’ve heard great things about it, but can’t justify the cost ($148) for my purposes. I have the dupes for my wedges. They are only $32 but sell out very quickly so I linked other options for you as well! For the embroidered skirt I have the SheIn version ($23), it’s looks exactly like the Goodnight Macaroon skirt ($48) for half of the price. As for my heels, I have the Express pair and they have been great for the last 2 years. I got them on super sale and they’re one of my best purchases.
