After we give thanks and stuff ourselves full, we all grab our laptops or put on our shopping shoes. The busiest shopping day of the year, is almost upon us (actually it started early) and I for one never miss it! Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday some of the best deals of the year are upon us. Now is the time to stock up, save, and splurge for all of the items on our list.
In order to get the best deals and sales we can find on gifts for the best people on our list, we’ve got to be strategic, and maybe then, we can get a few things for ourselves! This year I’m making shopping super easy for you with my list of the best sales and the best items to buy at each one! At the end of this post there is a comprehensive list of sales that will be updated das often as possible to reflect the active sales at each store. Must Haves
This is the time to buy the things you’ve been saving for. I saw on the news that this is the time to buy electronics, designer bags, and all the clothing. Below are some of the best items I own and are massively discounted during Black Friday and Cyber Weekend.
Winter Coat
This is the time to grab a new coat! I love my wool coat from J. Crew, but I’m also hoping for another more casual version this year! My coat is under $100 with the Black Friday sale, and I also love this one!
Designer Bag/Shoes
I love this time of year to grab a designer bag you’ve had your eye on. I wanted my Alexander Wang Rockie bag for years and luckily I was able to grab it on Shopbop a few years ago during their Black Friday Buy More Save More event. I highly recommend this sale to get some items that don’t normally go on sale. Unfortunately, my bag is sold out now and I’m not sure if they’re bringing it back, but I linked a few other fun designer items I’m eyeing!
Erin Condren LifePlanner
I use this planner every day and don’t leave home without it. I’m so much more organized since I started using my Lifeplanner last year. I wrote a whole post on how it helps me stay organized!
Cozy Pullover
I’ve been living in my cozies these days! Since the weather dropped below 50 degrees in Dallas I pulled out my cozy pullovers, and they are a must when I visit my family in Ohio! So many retailers have a version of this pullover and personally, I don’t think you can go wrong. I’ve linked my favorites below!
Spanx Leggings
I was so hesitant to buy these leggings because of the price, but they have more than exceeded my expectations! I wear them a ton and they are amazing quality. I even bought another pair this year because I wear them so much! Honestly, I love the leather look and that they are stretchy but also keep me sucked in. They’re great with just about any outfit!
Henley Wool Throw
This is by far the coziest throw I’ve ever owned! It’s so large and warm, perfect for the cooler temperatures heading our way this season. It’s a splurge, but so worth it. Plus it looks great in every room of your home. I move mine from the bed to the couch depending on where I need an extra layer! I linked the Henley throw and a few additional options below!
Christmas Pajamas
I feel like now is a great time to refresh your pajamas, maybe because mine are way overdue for an update. There are so many great places to grab them this time of year, so be sure to check out Victoria’s Secret, Aerie, and Nordstrom for some great deals!
The City Coat
I’ve wanted this coat for ages and was waiting for a good sale to make the update. I knew I’d need it for Ohio while I’m here, so I ended up getting it a few months ago, but if you haven’t got your winter coat yet (or just want options!) this is the best one! I receive compliments every time I wear it. At the time of this post being written, the coat is under $100 and comes in 8 colors! J.Crew also has a similar Stadium Lodge Coat, and by my investigation the difference is the material. Mine, the City Coat from J.Crew Factory is a wool blend, and the J.Crew version is a 100% wool shell. I don’t think you can go wrong either way!
Kate Spade
My absolute favorite clutch is the perfect gift for any woman on your list! I use it when I go out and need a smaller bag than my Rockie. I also pack it when I travel because it’s lightweight and flat. The perfect option for an “anytime” bag! With the Black Friday discount, it comes out to under $85!
Adella Bralette
My absolute favorite bralette (I have it in 3 colors) is on sale for Black Friday! I wear one of them all the time, it is the perfect layering piece! If you don’t have one yet, I recommend grabbing a neutral color. I started with black, then white, then gray. I think next I’m ready for a fun color!
What Not to Buy Now
While it’s tempting to buy everything now, there are a few things that you’ll want to hold off on buying. The latest gaming systems are not at their lowest on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Toys are best bought about two weeks before Christmas, and furniture will be at its’ lowest in January. For that reason I’m not including any of those in this post.
