Green is basically neutral at this point to me. I have these pants in brown as well, and just had to grab the green as well when I saw how great they were to style. Green matches so many colors and creates great outfits as a more fun and interesting alternative to neutrals like navy, black, or brown. Keep reading to see how to style green pants.
How to Style Green Pants
Green has made a huge resurgence in fashion lately. It’s been a great option to make neutral outfits seem more interesting and dynamic. Green is always in style but I love the version of it right now, especially with these pants! Below I have a ton of outfits for all seasons and occasions showing how to style green pants.
Are Green Pants In Style
Of course, green pants are in style! I think in the last few years we all got bored of simple jeans and black pants, so we branched out to more colorful options. As I mentioned, green is basically neutral, so it’s a great tradeoff from the standard basics.

How To Wear Green Pants
Classic Crew Neck Sweater and Green Pants
I love a simple combination that looks classy and put together. For this look, I paired a classic cream crew neck sweater with a pair of green satin joggers. I’ve had these pants for a long time and love the style. It looks chic and can be dressed up and down. This is a great look for workwear or casual dinner. You can even swap the loafers and backpack for booties and an evening bag to dress up the pants and sweater like the style right below. If you had green velvet pants they would be another great option to swap in here too!

Cardigan and Booties with Green Pants
Similar to the style above I’m wearing the same satin jogger green pants with a black top and black eyelash cardigan sweater and booties. This look is slightly more dressed up than the sweater and same pants above as noted by the more fitted sweater and pointed-toe booties. Wear this look to date night or even a fancier business dinner.

Star Sweater and Wide-Leg Green Pants
This is a very casual look given the pants are more casual than the previous looks. These green pants are a twill wide-leg, making them overall more casual than the satin pants. Pairing them with a nice but oversized sweater and loafers keeps the style casual and easy for running errands or a casual work day.

Fancy Pearl Top with Satin Green Pants
This top is one of my absolute favorites. I wore it for Christmas this year. It is a thicker tweed material lined with pearls on the shoulders. The satin pants pair well with this look to dress it up and of course the matching mules with a pearl button. Complete with a pretty black clutch and you’re all set for a night on the town or a show!

Satin All Over Look
I love a pretty satin style! This cropped top is perfectly paired with green satin joggers. I grabbed a clutch matching the top in cream and a fun pair of snakeskin heels. I would wear this look to date night or a night on the town with my girlfriends. This is such a gorgeous look for a classy style.

Sweater Vest and Green Pants
I styled this look as a more casual workwear style. I love the sweater vest look, but I wanted to make it more interesting with a balloon sleeve top underneath. This top makes the look more interesting than a simple button-down or tee. Paired with the green pants, this look is more dynamic than a simple jean or neutral pant.

Workwear with Green Pants
For this style I dressed up these twill green pants, these are the Harlowe Wide Leg Pant from Madewell, also styled as brown pants here. I grabbed this fun twist on a dress shirt at Anthropologie on sale, so unfortunately, it’s sold out, but I linked some other unique options below. Paired with this top and pant combo, I chose pointed-toe booties to dress this look up.

Satin Blazer and Crop Top with Green Pants
Another chic style with the green satin pants paired with a satin blazer. Under the blazer, I have a faux leather crop top, any material that matches the blazer color could work, though! I grabbed a matching cream YSL envelope clutch and paired this look with brown stiletto booties. This is a great look for a more formal evening. Green leather pants would also look gorgeous with this style if you had them!

Crop Top and Booties with Green Pants
I didn’t see it when I put this look on, but looking at the photos, I think it almost looks a little hip-hop. This cut-out crop top is such a fun look. Mine is old, but there are so many similar looks out there! Paired with the wide-leg pants and booties this is such a cool casual look for a weekend. This would be a really fun look to wear with green cargo pants if you had them!

Denim Top with Wide Leg Green Pants
This oversized denim top is perfect for a casual look paired with the wide-leg green pants. I grabbed some simple white sneakers and my logo Gucci bag.

Black and Green
I paired these wide-leg twill green pants with an unlined twill blazer. Underneath is a simple black t-shirt, and for shoes, I grabbed these black slide-on mules. This is a great look for work, or anywhere you will want layers. This casual blazer is great for a top layer to keep warm in an office.

Button Down and Wide Leg Pants
I love a classic button-down style, this look is elegant and smart. A classic button-down paired with these green pants and brown booties is an excellent and simple-to-style workwear look. This type of look is my favorite because it’s easy to grab and feel put together on a busy morning before leaving the house for work. It’s been a while for me since I’ve worked from home for ages, but I always appreciated feeling like I looked sharp rather than the days when I didn’t plan ahead and threw something on. I felt more sloppy and didn’t feel my most confident.

Spring Pink and Green
Most of these styled looks with green pants are black and white, which is normal around here, but I wanted to try at least one color! I grabbed a pink tank and bag and styled them with pink slides and a denim jacket. I love this look, it just screams ‘Spring’ to me!

Crochet Top with Green Pants
Wearing pants in the summer is sometimes inevitable. Often I would wear them to work, or if I knew I would be in very cold air conditioning. This crochet top is great paired with a pair of crisp white sneakers, and if needed a denim jacket for an extra layer.

Blazer and Satin Pants
This is one of my favorite photos and outfits. I love the wrap blazer paired with the green satin pants and strappy sandals. This is a gorgeous look for a night out, you could even wear a lacy bra under the blazer for a sexy vibe.

Cardigan and Loafers
This is a real-life work look I wore. I paired a black tank with green cropped pants, metallic loafers, and a light cardigan. This was a great look for work, both comfortable and looked put together.

White Top and Loafers
This is another real-life look I wore to work in the springtime. This pretty white top is paired with wide-leg cropped pants and metallic loafers. This outfit was a great and simple look to throw on for a workday.

Sweater and Cropped Pants
The final real-life work look includes a sweater and booties. This was an easy and comfy look to throw on during a cold winter day.
