Working at Kate Spade has major advantages. I get to meet great people, hang out around clothes and bags all day, and play dress up with customers. My favorite part is getting to see all of the new pieces before they hit the floor and are available to the public. Another great part is getting to try out things that I wouldn’t always pick out on my own. This dress was one of those pieces. I saw it in the store for months and thought it was cute, but never really thought about actually purchasing it. It wasn’t until I actually tried it on did I realize I really loved the dress! It’s my first Kate Spade dress, and I wanted an easy outfit that I could wear to work but would also wear in my everyday life. My dress is in stores, but for some reason I can’t find it online, but I did link similar items (all an extra 30% off right now!).
Working everyday of the week is really hard. When you add in blogging, and a social life it is overwhelming. I have a hard time saying no to people and events, but my schedule these days has forced it. Honestly it’s such a good thing. I need some time to myself and realizing that all it takes is saying no and that no one would blame me, is a huge relief. Do you ever get that feeling? It’s so important to take time for yourself, and I’m realizing that more and more recently! Have a great week!
