Happy Fall! It’s officially Autumn and I couldn’t be more excited! Ok, I could if it actually felt like Fall, but I’ll stop complaining because welcome to Texas. There are a few things that make me feel like Fall in my wardrobe, usually things like hats, leather, suede, fun accessories, booties, scarves, all of the best wardrobe pieces. This leather dress is definitely one of them! Although its 90 degrees outside, I can still wear my favorite Fall clothesĀ because it’s a frozen tundra in my office! It was super hot to shoot in, but It will be perfectĀ for workĀ when the temperature drops a little bit.
When you think of “leather dress” I’m sure work-wear isn’t the first thing to come to mind. Yes, it’s (faux) leather, but that fact seems to be the most scandalous thing about the dress. It’s short sleeves, crew neck and a totally appropriate length. It’s the perfect Ā from-the-office-to-happy hour type of dress because it’s so versatile! Today, I mixed it with the saffiano leather bag and suede booties to add in moreĀ texture. I love mixing textures to make an outfit interesting, rather than prints or colors. It’s what I’m most comfortable in!
I paired my leather dress with my awesome wine booties and my wine watch! It says “Wine and Dine” and has a little wine glass on it! I really didn’t need another watch when I found this, but it was too perfect to pass up! Plus it’s my favorite color of the season! Colors like wine and army green really help me get into the Fall mood! That, and pumpkin everything! What gives you that Fall feeling?
