I recently went through a lot of my old blog posts and realized I never did a true introduction to who I am and what this blog is about. So two and a half years later… here it is. I’m Kasey, I love fashion, and I want to share it with the world. I want to make it easier for you to get dressed in the morning so you can look and feel great while you pursue your own passions.

What is Running in Heels?

Running in Heels was named after I turned this personal blog into a fashion blog. I had just completed my first marathon and decided to really go for it in the blogging world. I gave “running” more than just the literal meaning and started developing fashion and lifestyle content for girls on the go.

Today I find myself needing to redefine my brand and really show you what I stand for, so instead of a brad statement about fashion and lifestyle, I define this blog as “Simple style and life tips for girls on the go.” Adding that one word puts everything in perspective for me and hopefully for you as well. Everything I share is to make your life easier. An outfit that’s easy to put together, home inspiration so you don’t have to guess where things are from, all-encompassing travel guides. Easy to find content with easy to implement solutions.

You are busy. I get that, because I’ve been there (heck, I AM there), and I’ve dressed people like you as a stylist. Most people I’ve encountered don’t want to think about how to put together outfits, they just want to look good. That’s where I come in. I promise to provide simple life and style tips so that YOU have a one-stop shop place for all of your needs.

How to Follow Along

I update Instagram multiple times a day, so there you’ll get the quickest and most up-to-date posts and inspiration. Here on the blog you’ll find more details, more explanation, and more of my thoughts and opinions spilled onto the page. At the bottom of this post you’ll see a subscription box. This post is a rare one, and not completely indicative of what you’ll find here normally. This is a blog post on my own brand instead of another, but I felt that it was completely necessary as I refined my “why” and drew the focus back to you, my audience. I typically post different style information, shopping comparisons, travel guides, beauty tips, or home inspiration. Head to my categories to see the complete list of topics I cover! Everything on this blog has a fashion or styling focus, whether it’s a home post or a travel guide, you’ll surely find my style crosses over to my decor, and my guides almost always include what to wear!
