I’ve been a Mott and Bow fan for years, first trying their jeans 2018. Ever since, I’ve loved Mott & Bow’s elevated basics for everyday dress. The quality of Mott & Bow jeans is great, they’re long lasting, stretchy, and high quality. Colors of the clothes last and everything from t-shirts to sweaters keep their shape. In this post I’ll be sharing a Mott & Bow review covering each item I own including t-shirts, jeans, and sweater and sharing ordering tips for your next shopping spree.
Mott & Bow Review
Slim Boyfriend Ridge Jeans
I wore these jeans for the first time on a business trip earlier this month, and ended up wearing them for around 18 hours due to an early flight out and long day for work. I can attest they are incredibly comfortable! They are stretchy and look really professional and put together. They are slightly cropped so they look great with both booties, sneakers, and loafers.
These are great jeans for someone looking for a slim/straight leg. They are a good foray away from skinny jeans and still look tailored. The color pictured here is medium/dark, and I didn’t personally have any issues with dye transfer, but I still recommend washing before first wear.
Slim Boyfriend Allen Jeans
These jeans are very similar style to the Ridge jeans (above) in fit and style, They are also slightly cropped, but are a grey color vs traditional blue jean. I wore these this past weekend when it was finally chilly outside, and loved them! I have them paired with the Light Ribbed Cotton/Cashmere Sweater and added a blazer for a professional look.
High Rise Skinny Bond Jeans
My version of these jeans have slits in the knees, but I don’t believe they are an option anymore, so you’ll only find the jeans without the distressing now. I really like how these jeans fit, they are a thinner material than traditional jeans and like most Mott & Bow pants, very stretchy. I loved these jeans but I ended up ripping the hold too big and had to get rid of them. I’ll be ordering a replacement soon!
Mid Rise Skinny Orchard Jeans
Another stretchy skinny jean I love are these mid-rise skinny orchard jeans. They come in medium and dark grey and high and mid-rise for waist heights. I love the dark color in the photo below because they match so much, and are a different color than you usually see in a variation from traditional blue or black.
Fitted V-Neck Marcy Tee
I did a full review of Mott & bow t-shirts here, but I’ll add more thoughts here as well since it’s been some time since I last reviewed the t-shirts and still have many of them! This v-neck tee is a lightweight and stretchy tee. It is great for layering and kept its shape throughout the years. I love a black tee, but these come in so many colors now! They are a great basic option.
Boxy Semi-Crop Noble Tee
The boxy semi-crop tee is my favorite t-shirt ever. Literally, ever. I love these shirts so much and wear them so often. I have one in all three colors and wish I could get more. They are a great length for a mid-or high-rise pant. They are a thicker material so not see-through at all and hold their shape vs stretching out over time. I still have my originals form 2018 and I wear them All. The. Time. I do need to place an order to have more on hand. I cannot recommend these enough!
Cashmere Oversized V-Neck Willow Sweater
I just got these sweaters in, and they are so soft! this oversized v-neck sweater is so cozy and ways to style. It is on the looser side, but if you really want something oversized I recommend sizing up as well. The cream is a beautiful color, but it is on the thinner side, which makes it really light. It is not transparent, but you will want a nude bra underneath. Below I styled it three ways, all could be for work or out for dinner!
Light Ribbed Cotton/Cashmere Sweater
This sweater was super comfortable, I liked that it was a cotton/cashmere mix. This ribbed sweater is highly fitted, so if you’re in between sizes you may want to size up. It’s a classic piece you definitely want in your closet this fall and winter.
Cashmere Raglan Crew Cambridge Sweater
Another black sweater to love is this 100% cashmere raglan crew neck sweater. It is so soft and comfortable with a crew neck and standard fit. I want this one in every color, it’s honestly the perfect classic sweater that embodies the elevated basics that Mott & Bow stand for.
