Dallas has many different neighborhoods each one more different from the last. One known for the strange mix of street art, it’s grungy look, craft cocktails and brunch spots with a downtown view, is Deep Ellum. Some of my favorite murals of Dallas are in Deep Ellum!
I’ve wandered the streets of Deep Ellum going to brunch, bars, or taking photos many times, and I thought I’d finally introduce you some of the coolest murals. Deep Ellum has 42 main murals and tons of others not counted in there. I couldn’t possibly shoot them all in one day, so I’m going to focus on a few I found while shooting with local photographer Oscar from Belmont Lens.
There are so many colors and styles showcased everywhere you turn. I used to do a lot of my photos in front of murals, but to keep it organized and focused on the amazing photographer who took these shots, I am only showcasing Oscar’s photography in this post. Don’t worry I’ll do part 2, 3, and maybe even 4 with more murals and instagrammable spots in Dallas!
Oscar does really cool effects on some of his images, so I created a video of my favorites for you!
My outfits are linked at the end of this post!
