If I buy one thing during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale it’s shoes! Scroll down for all my top picks for the 2020 NSale.
I absolutely love that the Fall styles go on sale before the season starts. That way I don’t have to buy them at full price! I typically upgrade my booties or replace some worn boots, but I also love the athletic styles! There are always so many great options during the sale, sometimes too many!
I’ve compiled my favorites shoes to share on sale now!
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Best Shoes for Women
Athletic shoes are great to buy during this time because they are usually unique to this sale and not made for any other retailer. I do not, recommend buying serious running shoes at Nordstrom, however. I always recommend to go to a running shoe store to get fitted.
I don’t know about you, but I’m dressing down a lot more this year than usual, so I’m loving all of the sneaker options! I have a very similar pair of canvas Sperry’s like these, and wear them All. The. Time. If you need an easy pair of neutral shoes to slip on these are the best and so comfortable!
Another pair I love is the Stan Smith Adidas with the snakeskin at the heel. I have a similar pair with the snakeskin, except mine are Adidas Superstars, and have the three stripes in the paten leather snakeskin material. It’s a subtle hint of trendiness on a classic style!
I almost always grab a new pair of boots or booties from the sale. This year I’ll likely limit my purchases to only one pair- which will be a very difficult decision- due to not knowing what the season will hold or how often I’ll be going out! I love the knee-high leather boots, but I think I’ll likely purchase one of the more casual and versatile lace-up styles.
Last year I grabbed my snakeskin booties. In Dallas I wear booties even when it’s warm, so I love the cutouts on the sides as a style. These are a great pair for this year in a neutral snakeskin! I also love these knee-high boots by Sam Edelman. I got a similar pair (tan, pictured below) two years ago and they have held up perfectly!
Mules have become my new thing! I love these styles and find them so easy to throw on with any outfit. From denim shorts to dress pants, mules go with just about everything! I highly recommend a good neutral pair, and maybe add some colors for fun! I grabbed about 7 pair this fall (on sale!) So I am pretty stocked up, but if you don’t have a neutral pair (heeled, flat, or both) add these flat and these heeled to your list!
Growing up I remember my mom wearing this type of mule all the time, and no wonder, they really are great and go with so much. I can picture her closet with the same pair in 20 colors now!
