NYFW SS18 Day 2 events and shows for my street style were all about the satin, blue and silk for me! For my second outfit of the day, I chose this slim silky dress (under $50) with an off the shoulder sweater over, with my crushed velvet mules! I was outside more than I thought I would be that night, so the sweater was really necessary, and at times, not enough!
My NYFW SS18 Day 2 Events were the Obvious.ly Relax and Rejuvenate party, Michael Costello presentation (which was amazing), and the Style Collective party.
The obvious.ly party was fun, it was a nice stop in between shows, and they had really great swag bags! I got to meet several people on the team and people I have emailed back and forth with for months! I’ve worked with obvious.ly on several campaigns and they have provided me with fantastic brand partnerships and connections.
At the presentation, I even saw Michael Costello, but completely blanked and couldn’t think of any good interview questions to ask! PS how gorgeous was this wall of roses? Almost as gorgeous as the gowns! Keep scrolling to see some of my favorites!
I ended the night with the Style Collective party which was not my cup of tea. Really, my biggest takeaway was that you don’t need to buy tickets for anything at fashion week. There are so many free and even open-to-the- public events that you can attend, purchasing a ticket isn’t really necessary no matter what the event is. That is high on the list of things I wish I would have known before I attended my first NYFW!
