It feels like New York Fashion Week was so much more than four days, but this last day, NYFW SS18 Day 4, was one of my favorites! It started with Francesca Liberatore at Skylight Clarkson. I loved it, and hated it. There were a few prairie chic pieces the collection could lose, but there were some stunning pieces, like the black and gold gowns! Next up, was Dan Liu at The Galleries at The Dream. I was amazed by the finale piece! All of the models wore peacock feathers as eyebrows which livened up the otherwise simple looks. I took a break after that show to head back, pack up a bit, and change.
For the afternoon, I went back to the Dream to see Nina Tiara. Her show was jungle-themed, very unique pieces. Definitely an interesting show, but not exactly wearable! Next stop was the Leanne Marshall show which I unfortunately did not get into. My ticket wasn’t scanning which led to multiple lines and eventually getting about 15 people from the door, and watching the screen while listening to the music on the other side of the door. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement, and extremely annoyed with the amount of people they invited and didn’t intend to let in.
After that, I went to dinner with the friend I was staying with. We ended up at Buvette, a cute little french restaurant in SOHO. Afterwards we stopped in a few stores and she went home. I headed to another show, which was extremely strange. There were 4 designers with random performers in between, and after the second one, they just stopped the show. I’m not sure what else happened, because I and a lot of other people left during what I assumed was an unintended intermission to get to my last show of the night, Jarel Zhang. The show was traffic themed, and stop traffic, it did! The show was full of eccentric rain coats, bright colors, and designs.
NYFW SS18 Day 4 was the most amazing experience! Such a dream come true!Ā My outfit on NYFW SS18 Day 4 was my favorite of the 4 days. I wore the most fun tulle skirt with my most recent favorite crop top! Ā My shoes are the cutest slip-ons with embroidery on them!

Great posts for NYFW, Kasey!
Your outfit is so fun!! I’m surprised I didn’t see you at Francesca Liberatore or Dan Liu. I had a similar experience with Leanne Marshall sadly and I’ve been attending her show for years with a seat and I still wasn’t able to get in due to capacity because I was running a bit late but not for NYFW standards!
