I’m always down for a spa day, so when The Adolphus Hotel reached out about a day of pampering for Kale and I, we happily accepted! Kale spent the afternoon in the brand new barber shop, Brass Tacks. It was his first time getting a shave and a legitimate barber hair cut, and he loved it! He said he is definitely going back. While the barbershop is in The Adolphus Hotel, anyone may book an appointment!
I spent the afternoon at the spa. I did a Citrus Body Treatment and I had no idea what I was getting myself into! I’m usually a massage girl, but I was intrigued by the summer special citrus treatment and tried it out.
I was on the massage table, but instead of blankets there were towels. The treatment started with a sage rub which was made up of sugar, oil, and sage. They wiped it off with damp towels, and then massaged in the citrus body butter. It was very relaxing and my skin has never been this soft!
Afterwards I met Kale at the pool for some sun before we left. We grabbed a few drinks and enjoyed the rooftop views! Of course he left more tan than me, which always seems to happen! Overall we had a fantastic day of pampering at The Adolphus Hotel, Spa, and Brass Tacks Barbershop. I think it’s safe to say we’ll both be back!
