Pantene ProV Intense Rescue Shots Review: Revitalize Your Hair

You already know how much I love Pantene. I’ve used their shampoo for years, and I love when they come out with new products for me to try! When I heard about the new Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots I had to try them and tell you all about them in a review!

I took them on my latest trip to Orlando, FL when we went to Disney World. Traveling typically wreaks havoc on my hair. Between unknown hotel shampoo, to different types of water, to the airplane drying it out before I even get to my destination (why does my hair get so oily on the plane?!), my hair is always in need after even a short trip. My Honest Thoughts on Pantene Pro V Intense Rescue Shots

As you know, I’m already a huge Pantene fan, I’ve been using it for years! When I heard about their new Intense Rescue Shots, of course I had to try them out to give you all of the details!

I paired my Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots with my Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo, skipping the coordinating conditioner this time. After I rinsed it out, I immediately felt my hair become less tangled, softer, and easier to brush. My fingers ran right through it!

Once my hair was dried, I couldn’t believe how soft it was. I did just get my hair cut, so it isn’t too damaged right now, but I did notice one piece right by my face that I was frying just a little too much with my curling iron. That piece, which is a little frizzy normally, smoothed out, and blended better with the rest of my hair! Even on day 2 and 3 it was softer and smoother than before.

I can’t stop running my hands through my ‘do! It’s so soft, I honestly can’t believe I didn’t just walk right out of the salon! How to Use Pantene Pro V Intense Rescue Shots

Apply your single-dose tube Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots like normal conditioner, but instead of rinsing right away, leave it on for about 30 seconds. I think of the Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots as a mini hair mask, but it rinses out faster to not weigh down your locks. Rinse for 30 seconds, be sure not to rinse too much! I talked about over-rinsing in this post, it’s definitely something I didn’t realize I was doing! By rinsing too much you’re getting rid of all the nutrients the Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots provide.

When you’re done, just dry and style like normal. Your hair should feel softer, lighter, and healthier than before!

When to Use Pantene Pro V Intense Rescue Shots

You’ll typically use the Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots once per week to revitalize your locks and repair damage. Just pair with your favorite Pantene shampoo, rinse, and squeeze out a good sized dollop of the rescue shot. The rescue shots are meant to be used in one go-round. They’re even formulated to prevent over-use, meaning there isn’t such thing as too much product in this scenario!

I’ve started working them into my normal hair washing routine. Pairing the rescue shot with my favorite Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo.

Traveling with Pantene Pro V Intense Rescue Shots and Putting Them to the Test

As I previously mentioned, I took my Pantene Rescue Shots with me on my recent trip to Orlando. No matter where you’re traveling new places will change the way you treat your hair.
