New Year’s EveI didn’t have any plans to buy a pink velvet jumpsuit, but when I found this one during the Express sale, it called my name! It wasn’t until I got it in my apartment until I realized just how much I could wear this pretty piece. For this post, I dressed it up. It’s so fitting that I’ve spent New Year’s Eve at this very building where we took the photos, because I was thinking how perfect this pink velvet jumpsuit would be for NYE!
I am loving jumpsuits this year, they are beyond comfortable, come in so many styles, and you can wear them so many ways! You can put a sweater or a t-shirt over or underneath like I did for fashion week to dress them down, or add heels and a clutch to dress them up! If you have a long skirt or loose pants, you can even wear them as a bodysuit with just the top showing. Literally, so many options! I’m wearing a 0 in this pink velvet jumpsuit, but I could probably go with the 00 to fit just a bit better. With the V in the front and low back I couldn’t wear a bra, which was fine with me, but I’d suggest sticky petals if you need something.
Speaking of NYE, I cannot believe I’m already writing about the holidays! I booked my flights home to see my family and I can’t wait to see them and celebrate! What are your holiday plans? (Or are you waiting for Halloween before you start planning?) When you book flights you have to plan early, flights home were already SO expensive as compared to previous years!
