The Margaritas
Hi friends! I hope you all had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend! I had a wonderful time, especially when I got to wear my new romper at the Dallas Margarita Meltdown! We got to sample tons of local restaurants’ margaritas and special cocktails. There were over 40 margaritas to try, but we dropped the ball and missed a bunch when we went to dinner to avoid the rain. There were many takes on a classic margarita, but also a ton of crazy ones (pickle margarita anyone?!)! My favorite was the blood orange margarita, but I can’t remember where it was from! So if any of you remember, please let me know!
The Romper
Now, let’s talk about this romper– yes, it is a romper! I love this thing. The romper is a sweet, baby doll style, but it is low-cut so it isn’t too short. It was still loose on me, so I pinned the front so it didn’t gape, but even with the V front and the low back, I could still wear a bra, which is a huge selling point for me. It’s not too short, and is a great fabric that I can dress up or down. For this event I dressed it down with a casual leather bag (which my sister brought back from Italy for me first seen here), and these great sandals.
This Week
I am definitely looking forward to a short week, now. I’ll have a ton of work to catch up on, but the day off was welcomed. I will be attending an event by The Meetup Dallas this week and I can’t wait to share my experience with you! I also have a ton of exciting posts to share with you so keep checking back in this week, and subscribe in the sidebar so you don’t miss anything! –>
