Hi everyone! This past weekend I went to visit my best friend in St. Paul Minnesota. It was a super quick trip, but any time together is better than none at all! It was a balmy 30 degrees which was like spring for Minnesota and I got to see real snow for the first time in a couple of years!

I’m in love with the authentic hipster style that people have there. St. Paul is a completely different place and I haven’t been anywhere like it before. It’s definitely not in the definition of what I would normally refer to as a city. It’s a friendly place with tons of little bars and restaurants that have “regulars” and people know your name. There is a ton of character and personality in the buildings and homes and I love it! There is also a ton of history there that I wouldn’t have ever known about. We saw the cathedral of St. Paul and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s house!

Of course I have to tell you about the food, because I’m a foodie as in I love good food! We went a few local places for meals and had specialties and local beer and homemade soda. I had a Blucy- a blue cheese filled burger and buffalo tots, and good non-Texas barbecue! Best of all I saw my best friend of 15 years. I’m pretty sure the only time we weren’t talking was when we were eating!

I wish I took more photos while I was there, but I was way more concerned with saying as much as I could in the short 40 hours we had together. We catch up pretty often, but there’s nothing quite like finally being in the same place at the same time.

Thanks for Reading and following my travels!

xoxo Kasey
