Striped Ruffle Top

Happy Monday! Today I’m showing this fun striped ruffle top I grabbed here on Memorial day weekend. There are 3 different colors/prints, and they’re all under $50! This top fits very well with my striped ruffle top/dress/wardrobe for the season! These are two trends I’m well in favor of! The best part about this top? I can wear it to work!

I’m writing this as I watch the Tony’s with my mom! It was so fun to be home for the weekend to see my family and more importantly, one of my best high school friends getting married! It’s crazy, she’s really my first good friend to take the leap and I couldn’t be happier for her! She and her new husband are currently on their way to Riviera Maya, she told me she used my blog posts (here, here, and here) to help plan their honeymoon, and I am SO honored! Believe me, it’s amazing to hear that you actually helped someone make a major purchase decision. Something like that really gives me perspective on how much influence I have on this blog, and even if I help one person make a decision, it’s all worth it!

So if you’re having trouble picking out a summer top, I hope I can help influence your purchase of this top because I’m kind of loving it! I know it isn’t the most trendy purchase I’ve made, but it’s something that I will wear (and have already worn) a TON this summer. I love my trendy purchases, but even better are the ones you could find me wearing any day of the week running to or from work! (P.S. How about this amazing bag that will be on my arm for the forseeable future? You can even zip off the front pocket and pull out a strap to create a shoulder bag!)

I am so happy to head back to Dallas, but it’s only for a couple of days because I’ll hop back on a plane to NYC again this week!
