Since college the Kentucky Derby has been a really big deal in my life. No, not an emotional connection, or a great memory from being there, I’ve just always known there’s going to be a great party where I get to dress up.
Gingham is the print of summer 2018. While it’s been around forever, and I’m pretty sure it won’t ever go out of style, but this season it is very in, and you can’t escape it. So, I’m writing to tell you how to wear gingham this summer and embrace it!
Shirtdresses are such a great universal piece of clothing. They can be worn in so many different situations, from running errands to dinner, to work, even! When I grabbed this chambray shirtdress, I couldn’t choose how to style it for you, so I ended up with two looks. One casual, one dressed up!
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and I can’t believe it! We do love to go out to a nice dinner and celebrate. I put together some great cute Valentine’s Day outfits below!
I can’t believe it, but it’s almost New Year’s Eve! Time to ring in the new year and celebrate with new beginnings and sparkles all around. I used to celebrate with my family and sometime a small group of family friends in a very casual setting. When I moved to Dallas and started dating Kale, we went to a few big NYE parties and I wore cocktail dresses a few years, and then last year, I wore a formal gown! I mean, hey, when you get an opportunity to wear a full length sequin gown, you take it! While I don’t always need cocktail dresses and sequin gowns, I do try to always add some sparkle! I’m styling New Year’s eve outfits for every occasion and type of party!
I love blazers, but I hate that they look so professional. I’ve never worked in a business professional office, and have never been comfortable in business clothing. So if I wear a blazer, I want to dress it down. It’s so fun dressing blazers down to see how I can style them that won’t make me look like I’m an old college professor or heading to an interview.
Longline sports bras and crops have been my go-to lately for the yoga studio! I’ve been collecting them for several years, but they have really seemed to pop up in trends this spring and summer. I’m sharing my favorites!
