I met with Dr. Krieger for my complimentary consultation, and we talked about my options. At 26 there was no getting me back into braces, so Invisalign was the best option (the only one I was willing to work with). I started on the SimplyStr8 Program and at the time this article is being written, I am about 13 weeks in.
Happy New Year! I rang in 2019 with my friends and my love at TopGolf which was just as much fun as the year before when we dressed in black tie and partied all night at Beats and Bubbly. Moral of the story, I love a party but the best way to spend NYE is with your best friends and the ones you love!
I love blazers, but I hate that they look so professional. I’ve never worked in a business professional office, and have never been comfortable in business clothing. So if I wear a blazer, I want to dress it down. It’s so fun dressing blazers down to see how I can style them that won’t make me look like I’m an old college professor or heading to an interview.
I can’t believe it, but it’s almost New Year’s Eve! Time to ring in the new year and celebrate with new beginnings and sparkles all around. I used to celebrate with my family and sometime a small group of family friends in a very casual setting. When I moved to Dallas and started dating Kale, we went to a few big NYE parties and I wore cocktail dresses a few years, and then last year, I wore a formal gown! I mean, hey, when you get an opportunity to wear a full length sequin gown, you take it! While I don’t always need cocktail dresses and sequin gowns, I do try to always add some sparkle! I’m styling New Year’s eve outfits for every occasion and type of party!
Tis the season to be jolly and break out your holiday dresses! I love this time of year because no matter where you go, you can always dress up! Party dresses are (or should be) a staple in your closet between November and January. You never know when you’ll need one!
I pretty much live in denim in the fall. There is nothing better than knowing you look great in your favorite pair of jeans! The super soft and stretchy material make them perfect for going out or staying in. Plus you can pair them with literally anything! I love dressing jeans up for date night, or down for running errands. They can be paired with heels, flats, sneakers, the options are endless!
The weather in Dallas has been yo-yo-ing so much lately and my skin can’t keep up! As soon as the temperatures drop, my skin dries out, and it isn’t a good look. Additionally I travel a lot this time of year, so the airplanes alone can wreak havoc on my skin’s hydration. It’s usually a nightmare, but this season I’ve found a solution from Olay, in their new Mists, which not only hydrate my skin quickly, but also helps energize or calm me depending on the scents I use.
It’s that time of year again, I’m breaking out my coats and getting ready for winter. While technically winter begins on Dec 21, I find myself needing warmth long before then. In Dallas, I am usually able to stick with jackets and layers, but when I travel home for Thanksgiving later this month I’ll almost definitely need a coat.
