I can’t believe it, but it’s almost New Year’s Eve! Time to ring in the new year and celebrate with new beginnings and sparkles all around. I used to celebrate with my family and sometime a small group of family friends in a very casual setting. When I moved to Dallas and started dating Kale, we went to a few big NYE parties and I wore cocktail dresses a few years, and then last year, I wore a formal gown! I mean, hey, when you get an opportunity to wear a full length sequin gown, you take it! While I don’t always need cocktail dresses and sequin gowns, I do try to always add some sparkle! I’m styling New Year’s eve outfits for every occasion and type of party!
I love blazers, but I hate that they look so professional. I’ve never worked in a business professional office, and have never been comfortable in business clothing. So if I wear a blazer, I want to dress it down. It’s so fun dressing blazers down to see how I can style them that won’t make me look like I’m an old college professor or heading to an interview.

Tis the season to be jolly and break out your holiday dresses! I love this time of year because no matter where you go, you can always dress up! Party dresses are (or should be) a staple in your closet between November and January. You never know when you’ll need one!
I pretty much live in denim in the fall. There is nothing better than knowing you look great in your favorite pair of jeans! The super soft and stretchy material make them perfect for going out or staying in. Plus you can pair them with literally anything! I love dressing jeans up for date night, or down for running errands. They can be paired with heels, flats, sneakers, the options are endless!
It’s that time of year again, I’m breaking out my coats and getting ready for winter. While technically winter begins on Dec 21, I find myself needing warmth long before then. In Dallas, I am usually able to stick with jackets and layers, but when I travel home for Thanksgiving later this month I’ll almost definitely need a coat.
