That’s a Wrap

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend, I ended up working the whole time, which left me finishing this post really late last night! However, I love this outfit so I really wanted to share it with you! This wrap skirt was actually my mom’s and since she gave it to me, it has become a great summer wardrobe piece and staple in my closet. I get so many compliments on every time I wear it! It’s soft, a gorgeous print, and moves so beautifully! I love wearing the wrap right at my waist so that I can wear a crop top without showing too much skin.

I have been really into the midi skirt lately which is usually unlike me. I am used to shorter skirts and dresses, but since I can’t wear them to work I gravitate towards pieces I can wear in different situations. Either that, or I’m just getting old. Which is totally possible, after work this weekend I went to dinner and then bed both nights! Besides the fact that I’m super lame on the weekends, something I’m working on correcting, it could also be the situations I’m usually in. Like I said, I work a lot and find myself needing more appropriate outfits. Don’t get me wrong, I love a cute crop top, but I’m most comfortable if I show less skin rather than more. This is the perfect outfit for a summer night’s dinner at home or on vacation!

Nataly and I found a fun old VW van to shoot in front of, and it matched my outfit so well! I love wandering around finding fun places to shoot. We are always on the look out for new walls or fun spot, so if you have any suggestions in Dallas, please leave them in the comments!
