There is an art to dressing. Do you keep it simple? How do you add a third piece in the summer? How many layers are too many? With this outfit, I’m using three pieces, texture and print to make the outfit interesting. Sometimes the key to a cool outfit isn’t adding a bunch of pieces, but it’s making sure the pieces you are wearing can stand alone.
We had a heat wave this weekend and I was inspired to create this casual summer look. I loved the effect of textures from the fringe on the bag and the snake-like leather on my shoes with the print on the dress. It helps to make sure the casual dress is anything but boring! Usually, there is a third piece rule, when you “should” add a third piece to any outfit, but when you decide to wear only three pieces, make them count!
