Top 5 Best Sushi Restaurants in Dallas that Deliver to your Home and Office

Top 5 Best Sushi Restaurants in Dallas that Deliver to your Home and Office featured by top Dallas blog, Running in Heels.

Sushi is one of my go-to date night meals and take-out options. If I’m choosing dinner it’s usually a sushi restaurant. Given the current circumstances in Dallas and everywhere else in our country, I’m trying to support local businesses in this time of uncertainty while I can. We’ve been ordering sushi about once a week, which is not out of the norm for us. We tend to order food or go out 1-2 times a week regularly.

Below, I’m breaking down the best sushi restaurants in Dallas, where to order from, whether they have pick-up or delivery, and through which apps, and finally, my favorite sushi dishes to order.

You may notice a trend with the rolls, I hate cream cheese in my rolls, and don’t usually order salmon, so my favorite sushi rolls typically include yellowtail, crab, tuna, or all of the above, so scroll down for the best sushi restaurants in Dallas that deliver!

Best Sushi Restaurants in Dallas

Oishii

Neighborhood: SMU Boulevard & Wycliff

Oishii is my latest sushi obsession in Dallas. We only discovered the Wycliff location recently and then the SMU Blvd location opened up and it is seriously some of the best sushi! We’ve been going every chance we get, and just last weekend, finally ordered a pick-up order.

Personally, I prefer my meals without much assembly required, so I prefer to dine-in, but I do love that they give you all of the sauces on the side to add on top after you get home, so they don’t end up all over the inside of the box.

Sushi Axiom

Neighborhood: Oak Lawn

Sushi Axiom holds a special place in my heart because this is where Kale and I went on our first date! We had been texting for a month beforehand and finally got together for a one-on-one date for sushi. Where we discovered their amazing Happy Hour which runs all day Sundays!

The best Happy Hour, all day Sundays, even during COVID-19 (delivery and take out only)!

Hungry Belly

Neighborhood: Fitzhugh/Henderson

When Sushi Axiom moved out of the Henderson location, we were so upset that we lost our closest sushi restaurant, so when Hungry Belly opened, we had high hopes, after a crushing disappointment of another Asian fusion restaurant in the same location for a few months prior.

Hungry Belly is a cute little Sushi/Asian Fusion spot owned and operated by the sweetest people with an amazing, dog-loving staff! We have the best time walking the dogs up for a dinner on the patio this time of year!

ShinSei

Neighborhood: Inwood Village

Our trips to ShinSei at typically celebratory, since this is a bit pricier than our usual spot. However, sometimes, you just need a reason to celebrate! ShinSei quickly worked it;’s way up to our go-to “nice meal”. We’ve tried tons of things on the menu and have loved everything so far. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Little Katana

Neighborhood: Knox-Henderson

This little spot is a great quick meal. Almost every time we’ve gone we sit at the bar and get in pretty quickly. We love their ahi tuna tower, it’s spicy and one of the better ones in Dallas. For a while we would order one everywhere we went to find the best! Little Katana’s was a top contender, so I recommend adding it to your order.

Nori Handroll Bar

Neighborhood: Deep Ellum

I probably would have never gone to this place on my own, but after going with my friend Amanda, I can’t wait for more! One thing I loved about this place was it was really clear how fresh everything was. The handroll meal I ordered was basically just seaweed and fish, not hidden with sauces and extra flair, just sushi. It was delicious, and I found out that I’m a big fan of handrolls!

I don’t have a ton of recommendations for rolls yet, because I ordered a meal while dinings in which are unavailable for pick-up, but I’d say just pick a fish, and order a handroll! They are super simple and delicious!
