Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! This weekend I welcomed a college friend to Dallas at her and her husband’s house-warming party. I feel so adult having married friends and going to house-warming parties. It’s a weird stage in life where some people seem to have everything together, some have nothing, and I’m awkwardly in between still trying to figure things out like cooking meals with more than 4 ingredients and knowing what to wear to work in the summer. However, I’m learning, so thank you for bearing with me!
Wear to Work
Aside from house-warming parties, do you know what else is adult? Going to work. Admittedly, any office I’ve worked in has been pretty casual. I don’t have to be business casual everyday, but every so often I like to dress up. This sheath dress is perfect to wear to work in the summer with the modest cutouts and scalloped edges. I usually wear a blazer or sweater over it inside mostly because it’s freezing in the A/C! I recently discovered the J.Crew Mercantile store which is (as described by an associate) similar to the specialty store the difference is just wear the clothing is made. Anyway, it is great clothing at a fantastic price, so expect to see more soon!
