Where to Stay in Houston: Hotel Alessandra

Kale and I recently ventured to Houston for the Justin Timberlake concert. While it was a short trip, we barely needed a weekender bag, we needed a hotel to stay in that met specific criteria. Ideally, we were looking for something close to the concert and restaurants. It must be cozy and have a comfortable bed, and of course, have a great pool! Hotel Alessandra matched all of our criteria and we were too happy to book a room.

First thing when you walk in the door there is the most beautiful marble staircase. It’s the modern fairytale staircase, if only I brought my ball gown, I would have felt like a princess walking down to meet my Prince Charming. You walk or elevate up to the lobby where you see the bar, lounge, and Lucienne. Lucienne is the hotel restaurant, and while we didn’t eat there, we were assured it was amazing.

As soon as we walked in I saw the stylish, cozy room of my hotel dreams.

Everything was clean and luxurious, and I wanted the art on the walls for my apartment. We got drinks from the bar while we (I) got ready for the concert wearing the comfiest robe. Although had I laid down, I could have skipped the concert all together and fallen asleep on that cloud bed! Kale and I agreed that it was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve ever slept in. They were lucky we got up in time for check out!

Maserati For Guests!

We made dinner reservations before the concert luckily, the super cool Maserati sitting outside the hotel was actually there to chauffeur us to our destination! We were definitely riding in style to dinner and the concert. I certainly felt important getting out of my Maserati in front of the Toyota Center! We didn’t bother calling for a ride home from the concert because we were so close we could walk. But if you’re walking be sure to wear your comfy heels! After standing at a concert all night low heels or platforms are the way to go if you’re also walking home.

Prime Location:

After a concert or sporting event at any arena, but specifically in a busy city, it’s so important to be close to where you’re staying. I grew up at least an hour away from most concert or sporting venues. So after each event, we’d have to sit in the car for 30 minutes getting out of the traffic. Plus an hour’s drive home. It is so important to me now to not have to travel far after events. That was one of the main reasons I chose Hotel Alessandra for our stay.

The pool was another amazing spot.

With an amazing 5th floor view, this rooftop-style pool was so gorgeous! I wish I could have spent the whole day there in my bikini, but unfortunately, we had to drive back to Dallas that afternoon. For a quick trip this was the most amazing hotel. I wish I could have spent even more time there! If you’re heading to Houston for a vacation or a quick trip definitely check out Hotel Alessandra.
