We’ve seen it everywhere, in many forms, for many years, but I think the current cut out trend is here to stay. Previous cut out trends have landed in the fast fashion stores, playing up the sex-appeal, and leaving little to the imagination. Anything from side boob to the belly button and everything in between has been shown but I think the fashion world has finally got it right with the cut out tie front dress!
How do I know? It’s everywhere. From top designers, to high-end department stores, all the way down to the fast fashion in multiple varieties. Dresses, rompers, and jumpsuits alike, all sporting a similar look. This version of a cut out is chopped at the high waist (or low rib cage) and then the top is tied together covering the wear-er in all the right places. While this particular cut out makes it difficult to wear a bra, I don’t personally have a problem with it as long as it’s covering you!
This dress is under $30 and the perfect length for a summer day! I’ve been loving midi dresses this year, which is definitely new for me. I think they’re so much more suited for my age since I’m unfortunately getting older. They’re also great for covering up when I have a classier event. I actually wore this dress to the Dallas Victory Cup, a polo match. The polo was cool, but the Patron tent was the funnest part! They were actually the place with the most available fans because it was super hot that day.
I cannot believe that this summer is already half over! How was it already the Fourth of July? I’m still feeling pool days and summer styles so this flowy summer dress is perfect for date night this weekend! What are your plans for the weekend?
