A cape always seems like such a fancy piece to an outfit, and on the daily, I am by no means fancy. It is a trendy piece that I wanted but really didn’t feel the need to invest a lot in, but I did really want it as a cool trendy piece in my winter wardrobe. When I saw this piece on SheIn‘s website, I knew I had to have it! This cape (c/o) is not the one you want in a snowstorm, but it is the perfect extra layer for dinner or the office! Plus can you see this cape has a hood? I’m not sure why, but I think that made my final decision. Since this cape has piping along the edges, I paired it with my new obsession that I have been living in, my leather leggings, OTK boots, and a sweater my mom gave me over Thanksgiving. Plus, I have a really fun post coming up next week featuring this watch (c/o), but I couldn’t resist showing you now because I am obsessed!
Guys this has been such a long week! I have no idea why, but I am so exhausted and work has been kicking my butt lately. Plus posting so much on instagram is exhausting… you think I’m kidding, but really. Anyways I have my office Christmas Party this evening and an ugly Christmas sweater party this weekend, so I am really getting into the holiday spirit!

I just need to know where you got the boots. It looks like you have tiny calfs like I do. I have a hard time finding boots that hug my petite calfs.
