What a week! It’s only Wednesday, too! I was slow to jump on this OTS (off the shoulder) trend, but now that I’m on it, I don’t want to stop! I was a little worried that once the weather got cooler, I would have to stop wearing them, but nope! This trend translates perfectly to the cooler weather, and I love it in the darker colors! These lace sleeves are my favorite part, though. They add a pretty and edgy feel!
The OTS trend wasn’t what I was fighting originally, it was more the functionality of the tops. I hate that I can’t wear them to work! Actually it’s hard for me to buy something when I can’t wear it to work, for the obvious reason that I’m there everyday! Plus, over the summer, when I was working part-time on the weekends, there was little time left to wear anything other than “work-appropriate” pieces. I’m still picky about my OTS tops, I don’t love the ones with the straps on the shoulders too, and I also hate it when you can’t move your arms!
I have to admit, for being as into fashion as I am, I am slow to jump on most trends. I like to think I have more of a classic style, with a touch of chic. My style is so classic, it’s actually impossible for me to sell my clothes when I want to clean out my closet. My clothes on their own, are boring. If only they knew I had a fashion blog, ha! I don’t think I’ll have a problem selling this OTS top, not that I’m planing to any time soon, though!
