How to Wear the Animal Print Trend this Fall
Today I’m sharing how I am wearing the animal print trend this fall.
Today I’m sharing how I am wearing the animal print trend this fall.
I can’t believe it, but the first sign of Fall is here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has long been the first note of Fall in the heat waves that are rolling outside the air-conditioned aisles of the hallowed halls of the department store. Over-the-knee (OTK) boots are great. They’re slimming, look high fashion, go with everything, and were finally mainstream last year. But,…
I’ve been spray tanning regularly for a few months now. Before I started I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect, and I had a few concerns that were all debunked after my first session. I wanted to share these misconceptions with you because I can’t tell you enough how much I love being tan 24/7!
Football season is here again and I’m ready to cheer my team all the way to a 7th Super Bowl ring! There are two typical looks I think of for game day style. 1) A casual tee and jeans/shorts, or 2) a dress in your team’s colors, SEC style. The former is my go-to at home look, but if I go out to watch a game, I like to dress up a little more. I’m all for a little black dress (yellow is not my color), but I have tons of Steelers tees and a jersey that I wanted to put to better use than lounge clothes. So I put together this for inspiration to dress up your game day style!
It’s a rare day when I’m not wearing jeans, but I found the most comfortable wide leg pants and had to share them! These wide leg teal pants are so soft! The high waist was extremely flattering, and do we even need to talk about the color? This teal is so similar to jeans, that I would almost consider this a neutral. I paired them with a black top and shoes, so overall this is a pretty simple outfit, but I feel anything but simple wearing it.
Thank you to Y’allsome for sponsoring this post, Casual Weekend Outfit, and thank you for supporting the brands that make Running in Heels possible. As always, all opinions are my own.
You may not realize it from looking at my blog or Instagram feed, but I actually live in t-shirts! I love coming home after work and changing into something comfortable to walk the dogs or write a blog post. Loving fashion, I also want my t-shirts to be soft and cute! This is the perfect casual weekend outfit for fall!
The holiday season is full of traveling to see family and friends across the country. If you’re going to travel, might as well travel in style! As usual, my primary concern is comfort, so I opted for a lightweight sweater and my most comfortable jeans! The more important piece of your travel style is actually your luggage! If you’ve ever had a zipper break or a wheel fall off at the airport, you know exactly what I’m talking about!
Until this week, I didn’t know how obsessed I was with sweatshirt dresses for fall. I bought this one a few weeks ago and was waiting until it got cold enough to wear it. The inside is fleece, so I was going to roast in the 80+ degrees. This week the weather finally reached 50s in Dallas and started to feel like Fall, so I broke out my sweatshirt dresses!
I’m not big on prints, but I love to mix textures! This fuzzy sweater paired with the suede skirt is definitely a great way to get more dimension in your outfit, and mix textures, not prints!
There’s nothing quite like the challenge of finding something to wear for date night. My go to is usually a pair of skinny jeans, black heels, and some version of a black, white, or grey top. However, those outfits are good for regular dinners, drinks, but every so often we go out somewhere nicer. For a birthday, anniversary, or for when we just decide to switch it up a bit! This ruffle wrap dress for date night was so perfect when I saw it! It’s one of those dresses that you need in the back of your closet to grab anytime that you need it.
I didn’t have any plans to buy a pink velvet jumpsuit, but when I found this one during the Express sale, it called my name! It wasn’t until I got it in my apartment until I realized just how much I could wear this pretty piece.
