This week in Dallas is Startup Week. On Tuesday Social Revolt held a cocktail party at Tower Club, so a couple of blogger friends, Nataly and Crystal, and I went up to network. It’s always fun going to cocktail parties and events like these because you get to dress up a little differently than you normally do. I chose a cocktail dress, added a blazer for the chilly air, and my favorite black pumps (RIP-the puppy ate them the next morning) for a semi-professional cocktail look. OK, truthfully I was confused by the cocktail vs networking situation so I went with both. I want to thank MAKE for providing my eyeshadow and lipstick for the event!
The color of the eyeshadow, Alabaster was very light and at first I wasn’t sure you could tell I was wearing anything. After continuing with my make up I realized how smooth it looked on my eyes. The eyeshadow was a smooth matte finish and gave a nice and clean look to my eyes. It would also be great to layer with more color options!
As for the lipstick, I wish I had more of it! The color was light and it went on so smooth! I am always on the hunt for new lipsticks because they are so fun to play with, but this color, Taffy was amazing for my night out but still could be a cute everyday choice. I don’t wear heavy make up so even on a night out I keep it simple. MAKE provided me with the perfect choices for my barely there make up routine!
The products MAKE sent me were perfect for a natural make up look. The company has great moral standards, I love that they never test on animals, and are paraben free, and are hypoallergenic. In addition, 10% of every MAKE sale supports their non-profit partner We See Beauty Foundation.
