I’m sharing all of my fall decor ideas in this post and the video below!
I can’t believe it, but the first sign of Fall is here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has long been the first note of Fall in the heat waves that are rolling outside the air-conditioned aisles of the hallowed halls of the department store. I pretty much live in denim in the fall. There is nothing better than knowing you look great in your favorite pair of jeans! The super soft and stretchy material make them perfect for going out or staying in. Plus you can pair them with literally anything! I love dressing jeans up for date night, or down for running errands. They can be paired with heels, flats, sneakers, the options are endless!
I have never claimed to be super trendy, and was determined to create this blog based on my own style. Somewhere along the way I fell victim to being influenced by all of the bloggers and influencers that I follow, and ended up looking just like them. I’m going back to my roots and my personal style.
I’ve been spray tanning regularly for a few months now. Before I started I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect, and I had a few concerns that were all debunked after my first session. I wanted to share these misconceptions with you because I can’t tell you enough how much I love being tan 24/7!
Football season is here again and I’m ready to cheer my team all the way to a 7th Super Bowl ring! There are two typical looks I think of for game day style. 1) A casual tee and jeans/shorts, or 2) a dress in your team’s colors, SEC style. The former is my go-to at home look, but if I go out to watch a game, I like to dress up a little more. I’m all for a little black dress (yellow is not my color), but I have tons of Steelers tees and a jersey that I wanted to put to better use than lounge clothes. So I put together this for inspiration to dress up your game day style!
Hindsight is 20/20 as they say. There are so many things I wish I knew in those four years, and so many things I wish I could tell my younger self! While of course I can’t go back, I do hope I can relay a few messages to my younger readers.
It’s here! Happy Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access 2018! I got to sneak a peek yesterday during the Level 4 sale day, so I spotted all of the next seasons’ trends! There were hits and misses in the sale and I’m spilling the details on what to look out for when shopping Early Access in my trend report below! I shopped yesterday, before most people were let in, and it was crazy! Do yourself a favor and shop online to avoid the madness and get your pick of colors and sizes. I’d recommend buying what you like immediately so it doesn’t sell out. You can always return later! If you really want your items immediately, buy online and pick up in-store. You’ll still be limited to sizing, but you’ll avoid the craziness.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner, so I was thinking about the best ways for me to…
The holiday season is full of traveling to see family and friends across the country. If you’re going to travel, might as well travel in style! As usual, my primary concern is comfort, so I opted for a lightweight sweater and my most comfortable jeans! The more important piece of your travel style is actually your luggage! If you’ve ever had a zipper break or a wheel fall off at the airport, you know exactly what I’m talking about!
Until this week, I didn’t know how obsessed I was with sweatshirt dresses for fall. I bought this one a few weeks ago and was waiting until it got cold enough to wear it. The inside is fleece, so I was going to roast in the 80+ degrees. This week the weather finally reached 50s in Dallas and started to feel like Fall, so I broke out my sweatshirt dresses!
